China quake death toll rises to 69,130

• The death toll in China’s major earthquake increased by 3 overnight to 69,130 as of Friday noon
• Another 374,031 people were counted as injured and 17,824 listed as missing
• A total of 46.16 million people were affected by the quake
• Hospitals had treated 94,774 injured survivors as of Friday noon, of whom 75,722 had been discharged and 16,463 were still being treated.
• Relief supplies, including 848,800 tents, 4.76 million quilts, 13.28 million garments, 757,900 tons of fuel oil and 1.61 million tons of coal were sent to the quake-hit areas by Friday noon.
• As of Thursday, relief workers had built up 33,900 temporary houses for the homeless people, while another 17,900 were being installed and the material for building 72,000 makeshift houses had arrived in the affected areas.
• As of Friday, 3,967 enterprises have resumed operation in the quake regions.
